Grown at an altitude of 915-1220 MASL, the Kelagur Heights farm in the Chikkamagaluru region of Karnataka, produces some of India's finest Arabicas and Robustas. The coffee (and tea) estates is owned by the Mathias Family for the past four generations. Kelagur Heights Coffee and Tea Estates is owned by the Mathias Family for the past four generations. Spread out over around 121 hectares, the farm produces in excess of 150 tonnes of coffee each season.
Coffees are shade grown and are often intercropped with spices such as areca nut, cardamom and green peppercorns.
