This one's for Melbourne! Our newest and best choice to make a Northside favourite Batch Brew (Batchy) or a smooth Flat White.

Much of my love for Melbourne's coffee culture was cemented between 2014-2017, running a bike rickshaw startup in Fitzroy. My mate Tim and I used to regularly ride up to one of the many hipster cafes tucked away in the laneways of Fitzroy and Collingwood. This is where over copious flat whites and bottomless batch brews, we discussed ideas, met riders for tryouts and enjoyed the sun!

The time also sparked my idea for kaapi and 8 years in, we have some fantastic coffees we source directly from our partner farms that are an exceptional choice to make a Northside favourite Batch Brew (Batchy) or a smooth Flat White. 

24/6/26 Crafted with our medium roast blend of Single Origin coffees from BRT Hills Tiger Reserve, KN (India).

Mix 1 part Decoction with 4 parts water off boil or milk/non-dairy to enjoy!

ROAST medium profile that is best suited to drinking a beautifully delicate black filter coffee. If you wish to enjoy it with a dash of milk, we recommend buying our Decoction or Beans (to brew on an espresso machine or other espresso brew methods).
