In 2017, when I started doing KAAPI popups, a good majority asked "Don't Indians only drink chai?"—
And I used to tell them that the moment you travel south of Central India, coffee takes center stage. While the 3 Indian states that account for the majority of Indian coffee - Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala - each carry their own unique languages, foods, and traditions, they are woven together by a shared ritual and a single universal word: KAAPI.
ROOSTER pays homage to this iconic wake-up call with an epic tri-state blend following the tracks through South India's finest coffee country.
We combine shade-grown Arabicas from the misty BR Hills of Karnataka and the pristine Palani Hills of Tamil Nadu, anchored by a deep, punchy Robusta from the lush forests of Wayanad, Kerala. All phenomenal coffees grown with care and sourced through our direct trade alliance with Black Baza Coffee (India).

Built for milk, jaggery, and strong espresso shots. It’s a classic, nostalgic, high-energy morning brew.
